Twin Birth: Welcoming Our Girls into the World
December 11th, 2008
Our girleens (little girls) have actually been here over a month during which blogging did not get a look in on the to do list.
And their magical beginning took the form of a cesarean section (more of that in later posts and how I attracted this experience). Both babies choose a breech position.
Our first gift to them was an Irish name….Eadaoin (pronounced Aydeen) which means ‘goddess of beauty’ and Caoimhe (pronounced Queeva) which means gentle, graceful and beautiful.
And they are all of that!
Wow. How lucky are we to have these two delights in our lives? How much I have learned (and unlearned) since their birth! What a privilege it is to be a mother.
Above is a photo of their first bath!
In great joy,

Hi! I found your blog here through Twitter…and I feel like I just have to tell you how amazing that photo is of your twins! I love photography, but I think there is something about your photo that is incredible to me, more then other twin photos I have seen. It just took my breath away. Beautiful.
Many congratulations on your new gift.
