Birth: What You Really Need in Hopsital
By · CommentsOf course, hospital is not the only choice available to birth your baby. But at the moment most babies in the western inhale for the first time in a clinical setting of one kind or another.
Preparing your bag is one of the milestones in pregnancy. And apart from items like baby-grows, baby blankets, pads etc.,there are a few other essentials that are often overlooked when preparing for birth.
A ‘must bring’ to the hosptial and something that will support you and your baby enormously even before the birth is an open mind.
Sometimes we really want the birth to happen in a certain way…perhaps you would prefer it to happen at home. Or maybe you really want an epidural or are very resistant to cesarean (like I was).
When you are strongly attached to a particular way of giving birth you might actually be working against yourself in terms of the Law of Attraction.
One of the essential ingredients in working the Law of Attraction is assuming that what you have requested from the universe has been heard and is being delivered.
If you feel you have to fight to make something happen or to ensure that it doesn’t occur, you are not in the place of allowing and trust that lines you up with what you really want.
Be really clear what is most important to you (e.g. a safe, empowering birth) and allow the universe to work out the details.
How that happens might indeed be different to how you had imagined your baby’s birth but you will get the results you want nonetheless.
I tried with all my might to avoid cesarean with my twin girls because I wanted a safe, gentle birth for them.
Because I was giving it so much attention, we had a cesarean!! (Click here to read more on that so you don’t make the same mistake).
When I look back now, I can see also that my babies had a safe, gentle birth.
It could have been even more lovely if I had been had opened my mind to the possibility that cesarean could actually be a safe, gentle and magical experience for my babies.
ANYTHING is possible.
So in your hospital bag… or better still in your head and heart…bring an open mind and let the universe to it’s job in co-creating a magical beginning for your baby in birth.

The Mothering Scream
By · CommentsSome of us might be screaming to become mothers.
Some of us be screaming because we are mothers!
But we don´t really equate conscious mothering or evolved living with screaming.
Yet.
When you need to scream it just means that the Goddess Within you has just had enough of one or more of your limiting beliefs about yourself, others or the way things should be.
‘No More’ she is saying.
Let her have her say.
She is infinite wisdom and knows what is best for all concerned.
Be her voice… (even in journaling)
And you will be supporting yourself in motherhood and fertility in the most powerful way.
In joy,
Deirdre Morris
