Breastfeeding Success: New Multi Media Book To Support Breastfeeding for Baby and You
Posted by: | CommentsWhen considering or practicing breastfeeding, we are faced with many opinions (often conflicting) as to the ‘proper’ way to breastfeed your baby.
This can be confusing as some breastfeeding practices are drawn from cultures that don’t mirror the reality of living in a modern world and also because baby’s expected weight gain may be based on information gathered from formula fed babies or unrepresentative samples.
So Maire Clement’s new book ‘The New Motherly Art of Conscious Breastfeeding’ is a breath of fresh air in the field.
I predict that this book will become essential reading for all professionals in the area of lactation and infant development and parents who know that breastfeeding was meant to be a joyful, fulfilling experience for all.
Maire, who has been working with mothers and babies for three decades, has distilled her vast knowledge and experience into the Conscious Breastfeeding system designed especially for modern mums.
She starts from the premise and knowing that breastfeeding should be pain-free and teaches us how to make that a reality. She also reminds us that breastfeeding is a skill that mother and baby need to learn.
Maire is a wonderful example of what we can bring forth into the world when we follow our passion and deep knowing of how life can be. This book has already been a great resource for me as I prepare for my twins.

Success With Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)- An Amazing Opportunity For You

Some of you will be familiar with EFT which is a marvellous tool that helps to release blocks to physical, mental and emotional well-being by tapping on certain energy points in the body (linked to different meridians as identified in Chinese medicine).
Well, Joanne will also be running an 8 week EFT teleseminar series ‘Removing Blocks To Success With EFT’ in which she will skillfully guide participants through different success related themes to clear out blocks (conscious or otherwise) you may have to succeed.

Breastfeeding – A Skill that Mother & Baby Need To Learn
Posted by: | CommentsOur most recent Blog Talk Radio Show from the Breastfeeding Salon started out with a question about how one might use a night nurse most effectively to support breastfeeding.
This discussion highlighted the fact that the Conscious Breastfeeding System, as developed by Maire Clements, represents a new paradigm in the area of breastfeeding.
We were joined by two moms, one of whom was on the show a few weeks ago and returned to report how well the Conscious Breastfeeding Approach was working for her.
The second new mom was seeking help because she was experiencing much pain and was just told to keep going when she asked for guidance locally.
Her story was a reminder that breastfeeding is a skill that mother and baby (and those supporting women after birth) need to learn and why the Conscious Breastfeeding System, which is based on the premise that breastfeeding should be pain free, is so successful.
