Cesarean or Vaginal Birth- Stop Fighting To Get What You Want
Posted by: | CommentsI ended up having a cesarean section.
So what about the law of attraction? How, with my all my preparation, did I manage to create cesarean instead of an orgasmic (or even ordinary …as if that is possible), natural birth experience?
I have had lots of time to reflect on this and the answer lies in the question.
I SO did not want a cesarean section.
I mean, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY did not want cesarean section.
And with the benefit of hindsight, I can see now that I was far more focused on ‘NOT HAVING CESAREAN’ than on having a natural, vaginal birth.
For example, I was so thrilled to have a doc who did not assume that a cesarean was needed even though I was having twins one of whom (at the time) was in breech.
I wrote a post on ‘the myth that breech babies required cesarean’.
I used many healing techniques to avoid cesarean.
And I so DID NOT WANT CESAREAN. I resisted it at every level of my being. I hated the idea.
And that is why I attracted it. Because I was far more passionate about not having cesarean than I was about having a natural birth.
Instead of investing my energy into having a natural birth, I was fighting the possibility of cesarean.
And each time I said NO to CESAREAN the universe just heard ‘CESEAREAN’….(it doesn’t hear NO..it just brings us what we focus on whether or not we want it).
And with the precision of this amazing universal law, it delivered exactly what I had given most of my attention to and my beautiful girls made their safe, gentle entry into this beautiful world through a very discrete incision in my pubis.
Are you fighting against or flowing towards what you really want in your fertility and birth experience?

Twin Birth: Welcoming Our Girls into the World
Posted by: | Comments
Our girleens (little girls) have actually been here over a month during which blogging did not get a look in on the to do list.
And their magical beginning took the form of a cesarean section (more of that in later posts and how I attracted this experience). Both babies choose a breech position.
Our first gift to them was an Irish name….Eadaoin (pronounced Aydeen) which means ‘goddess of beauty’ and Caoimhe (pronounced Queeva) which means gentle, graceful and beautiful.
And they are all of that!
Wow. How lucky are we to have these two delights in our lives? How much I have learned (and unlearned) since their birth! What a privilege it is to be a mother.
Above is a photo of their first bath!

Birth and Acupressure…Empower Your Partner For An Easier Birth
Posted by: | CommentsI am 34 weeks pregnant with our twins and have been sleeping a lot lately! Hence, I haven’t posted for a while. However, lots has been happening.
We are coming into a new phase in the preparation for birth. My wonderful doctor (general practitioner) also happens to be an Acupuncturist and Homeopath.
How lucky am I? This is proof of the Law of Attraction in my life for sure.
Last week we had a session during which she showed myself and my partner different acupressure points to facilitate the birth process…to reduce back and abdominal pain and to support delivery of the placenta.
This means that my partner can play an active part in helping his babies be born…..and this in turn will support me. How empowering is that?
I also love the idea of being able to tap into this ancient healing technique during the birth of our twins.
There is so much assistance available to us when we ask for it!
What are you asking for? Perhaps you already have resources (like your partner) that could be utilised in an even more powerful way during birth. What steps can you take now to allow that to happen for you?
In joy,
Deirdre Morris
