St. Valentines Day…A Festival To Support Fertility
Posted by: | CommentsOur present Valentine’s Day celebrations have evolved from a Roman pagan festival of fertility.
In this festival, a goat was slaughtered by the pagan priest and the boys of Rome ran through the streets to promote fertility and easy childbirth by gently slapping strips of goat on women who received it eagerly.
Times have changed and it is unlikely that many of us will be receiving the sacred fertility slap.
But even though we celebrate it in a different way now, perhaps Valentine’s day is presenting us with clues to a powerful modern solution to infertility and ways to enhance your pregnancy success.
As you are aware, nowadays Valentine’s Day is all about love, romance, hearts and flowers. What has that got to do with fertility?
Well, when you are feeling loved, appreciated and special it is much easier to open up to more love and magic and you are in alignment with receiving all kinds of goodness int your life (including a baby).
But you don’t need to celebrate St.Valentines in the traditional way to support your fertility.
I sense that we are ready for this celebration to evolve in order to reflect our modern world. It is time for St.Valentine’s day to take a different focus now in order to support fertility.
While there is no doubt about it that love, romance and flowers can support your fertility, they most certainly don’t have to come from anybody else. That is the old paradigm.
You are being invited now to claim back your power, the knowing that You are the creator of your life…and that your fertility really has nothing to do sacred goat or being adored by another.
It is time now to support your fertility, pregnancy and mothering today by loving yourself, romancing yourself and stopping to really smell the roses.
Lets allow St.Valentine’s day to be the catalyst for deep self love, self nurturing and honoring and just watch how with that shift the law of attraction will support your body, your relationships, your fertility and your life.
I invite you today to imagine you are somebody you are passionate about, that you utterly adore. What would you love to do for you today? How can you adore yourself today?
What do you think? Are we ready for the next evolutionary step for so that St.Valentines can continue to support fertility? Do you believe that loving yourself more could actually enhance your fertility and mothering experience?

Yoga Video For Fertility and Supporting Your Feminine Energy
Posted by: | CommentsI am writing this by moonlight!
Recently I have started a new yoga class locally. And I was surprised and delighted to be guided through the Moon Salutation.
Surprised because I love the moon and I had never heard of the Moon Salutation before.
Even in Kathmandu, when I used to cross this colourful city by bus and tuc-tuc for my private 6.30am class, these posture were never discussed. All my effort and energy was invested in Saluting the Sun which was of course very appropriate given the time of day.
However, hearing that there is also a Moon Salutation literally filled me with joy. More than that, my body felt so peaceful, centered and happy following this routine and afterwards.
More than I ever recall with the Sun Salutation or any other Yoga I have done. Although not Yin postures apparently, I could feel my feminine energy being nourished.
Perhaps because I am in a place now in which connecting with all that is feminine and that is so important for myself, my mothering and my work. Or perhaps it is my love for the moon….
I searched on-line for more information on this and discovered this wonderful Moon Yoga Fertility video from http://www.PullingDownTheMoon.com that I just had to share with you.
Press play above and please comment below on whatever comes up for you! Have you ever considered Yoga as a way of supporting your fertility or feminine energy? Would you? Does it feel right for you? And what, if anything, might be stopping you now?
