Pregnancy & Fertility: The Role of Passion!
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the qualities associated with people who are successful is their passion.
Successful people are REALLY passionate about what they want.
They LOVE the idea of creating and achieving their goal AND… the vision of the outcome pulls them forward through any difficulties.
Passion, of course, belongs in baby making too!
At all stages…..passion belongs in moving forward with your partner, love-making, co-creating, bringing forth new life, having fun in parenthood and family life etc.
Passion also belongs in IVF and other treatments, pregnancy and birth.
For example, you might be passionate about becoming pregnant, about feeling empowered and relaxed in your birth experience, or about being a mum/dad.
They are very different mind-sets to ‘being afraid of not having children’ or ‘getting the birth out of the way’.
Passion leads you to what you really love.

Fertiliy and Pregnancy: You Are NOT the Victim of Your Genes

There is a belief that we are victims of our genes…that they are beyond our influence in general..not just in pregnancy, fertility and birth.
However, research done by Dr. Bruce Lipton (who wrote The Biology of Belief) has demonstrated that placing genetically identical (cloned) cells into different environments produced completely different results.
For example, one cell became a muscle cell. Another turned into a fat cell… and a third became a bone cell.
They stared out identical. The only variable that was different was the environment.
According to Dr. Lipton, the mind (your thoughts and beliefs) is the environment of your body and it influences what your cells become.
So whether you want to experience a full-term, healthy pregnancy… a safe, empowering birth OR regain your shape easily after birth, YOU have the power to influence this.
You can begin to change the environment of your cells…..by activating new beliefs that really support you on this journey.

Pregnancy & Fertility Myth: REAL Woman Have Babies
Posted by: | CommentsThere is an assumption that most women become pregnant and give birth some time during their child bearing years.
And it may seem, that the value or depth of women who have chosen (voluntarily or otherwise) a different path is somehow less.
This idea sometimes pushes women (for whom this road is not their true path) into joyless motherhood.
It also has the effect of making the experience of miscarriage or infertility even more painful and isolating.
In addition, it causes us to undervalue the beautiful, life-giving, powerful paths of women who express their femininity in different ways.
What are your beliefs around this? They are shaping your experience of your fertility.
Perhaps it is time to let some of them go?
